Inter Milan will be happy to bide their time and sign Anatoliy Trubin and Tiago Djalo as free agents next summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri prefer to wait till next year and sign the duo on free transfers rather than splashing the cash this summer.

Even though the Beneamata are desperate to sign a new goalkeeper following the departures of Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic, they haven’t been able to reach an agreement for Trubin.

The 21-year-old is a Shakhtar Donetsk youth product who rose through the club’s ranks to become the first choice. The young custodian also cemented himself as the Number One for Ukraine.

But with Shakhtar asking for a large transfer fee, Inter haven’t been able to make a breakthrough in the negotiations.

Therefore, the Italian giants will turn to other profiles this summer. They will return to Trubin once his contract expires next summer.

Inter Milan Will Try To Poach Anatoliy Trubin And Tiago Djalo On Free Transfers Next Summer.

The Nerazzurri could apply the same ruse to land Tiago Djalo. The 23-year-old is an up-and-coming defender who impressed at Lille in recent years.

The Portuguese developed his skills at Sporting’s youth academy. Following a brief spell with AC Milan’s Primavera squad, he joined Lille in 2019.

Sadly, the young defender suffered a Cruciate Ligament rupture last March which should keep him away for a substantial period.

Therefore, Inter aren’t willing to spend money on a currently injured player. Instead, the Italian giants will monitor his recovery and attempt to poach him next summer for free as long as he doesn’t sign a contract renewal with the Ligue 1 side.
