Famous football agent Federico Pastorello reveals Inter Milan as the only club to make contact with him for his client Roberto Pereyra.

The Argentine is now a free agent after ending his second spell with Udinese. The midfielder made a name for himself at the Fiulian club early in his career.

He then joined Juventus in 2014 where he spent two trophy-laden seasons, winning two Scudetto titles, two Coppa Italia trophies and an Italian Super Cup.

In 2016, he joined Watford (another club owned by the Pozzo family) before making his return to Udinese in 2020.

During his second stint with the Zebrette, he proved to be reliable, versatile and consistent.

The 32-year-old is now searching for new accommodation. But his agent admits the lack of satisfactory offers.

Pastorello says Pereyra would like to stay in Italian football, but thus far, only Inter Milan inquired about his services.

The Nerazzurri are still looking for an additional midfielder to complete the department. But they’re yet to make a concrete offer for the Argentine veteran.

“At the moment, no satisfactory offers have arrived, not even from abroad,” reveals Pastorello in an interview with Calciomercato.it via FcInterNews.

“The lad would prefer to stay in Serie A. But until now, there has only been contact with Inter in Italy.

“We’ve only talked about Pereyra with the Nerazzurri. He’s a player they like, but there’s nothing concrete until this moment.”

As we reported earlier today, Pereyra’s former Udinese teammate Lazar Samardzic remains the preferred candidate in Inter Milan’s book.
