Inter Milan have agreed a deal to send young striker Francesco Pio Esposito out on loan to Spezia in Serie B next season.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that the clubs have a full agreement and that the 18-year-old will make the switch soon.

Esposito, who is the younger brother of Inter striker Sebastiano and ex-Nerazzurri midfielder Salvatore, enjoyed something of a breakout campaign last season.

The 18-year-old played with Inter’s Primavera team.

Playing at the Under-19 level, he has scored a total of fifteen goals.

In addition, there are no longer any questions about Esposito’s readiness for the senior game on a physical level.

The tall, strong striker looks as though he’ll be able to hold his own in the senior game.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are ready to give Esposito his first real taste of senior football. And he will do so on loan in the Italian second division.

Inter Milan Agree Loan Deal With Spezia For Francesco Pio Esposito

According to TMW, the club where Esposito will join on loan for the upcoming season is Spezia.

Last season, the Ligurians were relegated from Serie A after three seasons in the top flight.

They lost to Hellas Verona in the relegation playoff match at the end of the seasons. This came after both they and the Gialloblu had finished level on points in the final relegation spot.

Spezia are aiming to make signings to adjust to life in the second division. And Esposito is looking for his first opportunity at the senior level.

The 18-year-old will also join his older brother Salvatore, who made the switch from SPAL to Spezia last season.
