Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that PSG wingback Achraf Hakimi has made it clear he would welcome a return to Inter Milan.

Writing in his column in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, via FCInter1908, Biasin compared the Moroccan’s situation to that of Milan Skriniar, who recently joined him in the French capital.

Hakimi was one of the most high-profile departures from Inter over the past few seasons.

The Moroccan international, who has also played for Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, played a key role in the Nerazzurri winning the Serie A title in the 2020-21 season.

Hakimi may have stayed at Inter for just one season.

However, he made his impact felt.

Sporadic reports have linked Hakimi with an improbable return to Inter in recent months.

These reports have centred on the desire of the player concerned. On a financial level, it would be hard to see the move happening.

But Biasin has once again stirred the pot, as part of a comparison to the situation of another ex-Inter player currently at PSG.

PSG: Achraf Hakimi Would Be Open To Inter Milan Return

Looking at the recent friendly match in Japan, Biasin noted that “You can see many familiar faces in PSG 1-2 Inter.”

“There’s that of Achraf Hakimi,” he continues.

“The wingback is a top player, but he’s made it clear that he’s not all that happy right now.”

“He’s made it clear in every way,” Biasin suggests. “He would be happy to return to Milan. But for now, he earns gigantic wages, so it wouldn’t be possible.”

“Then there’s Milan Skriniar, another new arrival.”

“He told everyone, ‘I’m happy to be here, I couldn’t wait to come,'” he notes of the PSG new boy.

But then Biasin sardonically remarks that “We’ll await him at the gate,” suggesting that Skriniar too may want to come back.
