Inter Milan are interested in signing Atalanta goalkeeper Juan Musso.

This according to today’s print edition of Bergamo-based newspaper Corriere di Bergamo, via FCInter1908, who also report that Juventus are keen on bringing in another Atalanta goalkeeper in the form of Marco Carnesecchi.

At the moment, Atalanta have two potentially starting-quality keepers.

On the one hand there is Musso. The Argentine has been at La Dea since 2021, when he joined from Udinese.

Musso has not always held down a starting place during the past couple campaigns. However, the 29-year-old wants to be at a club where he has a good chance of being first-choice one way or the other.

Meanwhile, Carnesecchi is back at Atalanta after a season on loan with Cremonese.

Despite the fact that Cremonese suffered relegation to Serie B last season, the 22-year-old won plaudits for his individual performances.

Carnesecchi looks to be one of he outstanding young Italian goalkeepers.

Inter have even shown an interest in signing Carnesecchi this summer.

In any event, now that the 22-year-old is back at Atalanta, he has no intention of playing second fiddle to anyone. He wants to be the starting keeper next season.

Inter Milan Could Sign Musso, Juventus Want Carnesecchi

The situation with Musso and Carnesecchi could mean that one of the two leaves La Dea this summer.

And according to the Corriere di Bergamo, Inter are a concretely possible destination for the former.

The Nerazzurri are still looking for a goalkeeper to replace Andre Onana.

Yann Sommer, Emil Audero, and Anatoliy Trubin are all currently on Inter’s shortlist.

But Musso could also prove to be an opportunity. However, the Argentine’s stance would likely rule out his arrival as a backup keeper.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri want to sign Carnesecchi.

The future of current Juventus Number One Wojcech Szczesny has looked a bit uncertain.
