Inter Milan are pushing to seal the signature of Gianluca Scamacca while West Ham United are reportedly lining up a replacement.

The Hammers signed the Italian striker last summer following his exploits at Sassuolo. However, his first season in East London was less than satisfying.

Therefore, the English club is willing to part ways with the 24-year-old who has several suitors in Serie A. Nevertheless, the Nerazzurri are still leading the chasing pack.

As we reported earlier today, Inter are counting on Scamcca’s desire to join them. This could help them finalize the deal.

So according to to Ansa via FcInterNews, West Ham are already searching the market for a replacement who can fill in for Scamacca.

Interestingly, the Premier League side is once again fishing in Italy, identifying M’Bala Nzola as the right profile.

The Angolan striker has been plying his trade in Italy since 2016. He joined Spezia in 2020 and earned fame while representing the Aquilotti in Serie A.

Boost For Inter Milan As West Ham Close In On Gianluca Scamacca Replacement

Sadly for the Ligurians, they suffered relegation following a dramatic playoff loss against Hellas Verona at the end of last season. Nzola was even one of the main culprits in the defeat as he failed to convert from the spot.

Nevertheless, the 26-year-old remains an esteemed bomber in the Italian peninsula, and his fame has apparently reached English shores.

The source claims that West Ham’s recent Conference League final opponents Fiorentina are also interested in Nzola’s services.

As for Inter, they’ll be hoping that this development brings them even closer to Scamacca.
