Inter Milan will reportedly try to sign Atheltico Paranaense’s Bento next summer. They have already revamped their goalkeeping department this summer.

With Andre Onana, Samir Handanovic and even Alex Cordaz all gone, the Nerazzurri had to buy three new custodians this summer.

The Italian giants managed to snap up Yann Sommer from Bayern Munich. The Swiss signed his contract on Monday and should act as the club’s Number One between the sticks.

Moreover, Emil Audero will likely arrive from Sampdoria to serve as an understudy, while Raffaele Di Gennaro returned to Appiano Gentile. The latter will be the third-choice goalkeeper.

Therefore, Inter directors Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio should call it a day once they wrap up the signing of Audero. They will turn their attention to other departments.

So according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri have postponed their pursuit of Bento for another year.

The Serie A giants will attempt to sign the Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper in 2024.

The 24-year-old is a Brazilian custodian born in Curitiba. Nevertheless, he also holds Italian citizenship which should facilitate his arrival.

Inter Milan Have Delayed Their Attempts To Sign Bento Until 2024

On another note, the source expects young Inter goalkeeper Filip Stankovic to join Sampdoria without revealing the nature of the operation.

The 21-year-old is a Nerazzurri youth product who spent the last two campaigns at Volendam in the Netherlands.

The Serbian would thus replace Audero who’s moving in the opposite direction.

Filip is the son of Inter Milan legend Dejan Stankovic who also represented Sampdoria during his early playing days. He also coached the Blucerchiati last season.
