The agent of Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic reveals that his client has received an offer from a big club amidst Inter Milan return rumors.

Earlier today, emerging reports linked the Austrian bomber with a possible return to the Nerazzurri.

According to Il Resto Del Carlino via FcInterNews, Inter made an offer worth 3 million euros for the 34-year-old.

However, the Rossoblu rejected the bid. The Emilians consider the big striker as a pillar in their technical project.

For his part, Danijel Arnautovic (Marko’s brother and agent) reveals that the striker has indeed received an offer from a top club.

Nevertheless, he didn’t reveal its identity, leaving his brother’s suitor anonymous.

The player’s representatives also reminds Bologna of their promise to let the veteran striker leave in the event of an offer from a top side.

“Last summer and last winter, we received two very important offers from the Premier League. But out of respect for Bologna, we didn’t push for a transfer,” says Danijel Arnautovic in an interview with Sky Sport via L’Intersita.

“We received some offers at the beginning of June, and Bologna had promised us that in case of offers from top clubs, they would consider a transfer if Marko wants to leave.

“Now, an offer has arrived. So we would like the club to understand the importance of this opportunity for Marko.

“This would be his chance to compete at the highest level and win titles.”

Arnautovic is a well-traveled striker who spent the 2009/10 on loan at Inter Milan. Despite winning the treble, he hardly featured in José Mourinho’s star-studded lineup.
