Inter Milan have agreed a deal to sell Robin Gosens to Bundesliga club Union Berlin for a fee of around €15 million.

This according to Sky Sport Italia journalist Luca Cilli, who reported in a tweet that the deal is done, and that the Nerazzurri are ready to move to sign Carlos Augusto from Monza to replace the German.

This is not the first transfer window which has seen links between Gosens and the Bundesliga.

On the contrary, in each of the windows since his arrival from Atalanta, the 29-year-old has been the subject of transfer interest from the German top flight.

This summer, it has been Union Berlin who have stepped up.

The club from the German capital are not the only team interested in signing Gosens. Wolfsburg have also made their approach to try and bring the former Atalanta wingback to the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Premier League duo Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have also shown an interest.

However, it had been Union who led the charge earlier in the window.

And despite that interest seemingly fading a little bit, in the past few days they have returned to the table. And, Cilli reports, they have reached an agreement with Inter.

Inter Milan Agree Deal To Sell Robin Gosens To Union Berlin

Union will be in the Champions League next season for the first time in their history.

The club from the German capital are aiming to make reinforcements in the transfer market to improve both starting eleven quality and depth in view of their European commitments.

Gosens will be among these reinforcements.

According to Cilli, the negotiations have reached their conclusion. Inter will sell Gosens to Union for a fee of around €15 million.

That fee is inclusive of all add-ons.

Now, with Gosens looking set to leave to join Union, Inter will waste little time in trying to sign Augusto.
