Inter Milan are pushing to sign striker Marko Arnautovic, and believe that a deal is possible despite Bologna rejecting their first offer.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri have already €8 million, but feel that a deal can happen for a fee of around €10 million.

Inter’s search for a striker is becoming more and more pressing with each day that the transfer deadline draws closer.

The Nerazzurri have already missed out on Gianluca Scamacca.

Meanwhile, Inter’s interest in Folarin Balogun looks to have slowed down considerably.

However, the Gazzetta report, there are still a few candidates very much alive on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist.

Porto’s Mehdi Taremi and Bayern Munich’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting are both serious targets.

However, the Gazzetta anticipate, it is Arnautovic who Inter are really going for at the moment.

Inter Milan Have First Offer For Arnautovic Rejected – But Feel A Deal Possible

The Gazzetta confirm that Inter have already put an offer on the table for Arnautovic.

The Nerazzurri have bid a total of €8 million according to the newspaper.

That was not enough for the Bologna. The Rossoblu have still stuck to a considerably higher valuation.

However, the Gazzetta report, Inter do not expect the Emilians to dig in their heels on too steep a valuation.

Reports have suggested that Bologna are currently asking for around €15-20 million to sell Arnautovic. Inter would certainly see this as too high for a player who turns 35 next season.

However, according to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri believe that they can convince the Rossoblu with a lower offer than that kind of valuation.

The newspaper report that Inter expect that they can sign Arnautovic for a fee that crosses the €10 million benchmark.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are preparing an offer of around that size. They expect that a deal for the Austrian will be possible.
