Marko Arnautovic isn’t the only striker Inter Milan want to sign this summer – they’re still aiming for another signing.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the Nerazzurri are close to wrapping up a deal to sign Arnautovic but still hope to bring in another centre-forward.

Inter aren’t going to wait around much longer to sign Arnautovic.

The Nerazzurri have now gone a month since their pursuit of Romelu Lukaku fell through, without signing a centre-forward. They have looked at plenty of possibilities, but not sealed any deals.

Now, however, it looks as though Inter have finally made their decision.

According to SportItalia, the Nerazzurri are ready to offer €8 million plus €1-2 million in add-ons to sign Arnautovic.

Bologna also asked about the possibility of loaning midfielder Kristjan Asllani as part of a deal. However, the Nerazzurri rejected this as they see the Albanian as part of their project next season.

Inter Milan Aiming To Sign Arnautovic & One Other Striker

According to SportItalia, it shouldn’t be too long before Inter wrap up a deal for Arnautovic.

However, the 34-year-old Austrian international won’t necessarily be the only player who the Nerazzurri sign in the position.

The broadcaster anticipate that they will still look to make one more attacking signing before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of this month.

The question then could be whether this will mean Joaquin Correa must be sold. Reports have suggested that Inter will certainly listen to offers for the Argentine.

However, to date there has not been any serious interest in Correa’s signature.

Therefore, if Arnautovic is to be the striker who comes in in place of Romelu Lukaku, all four spots from last season would be taken. Marcus Thuram also arrived on a free transfer earlier this summer.
