The transfer of Lazar Samardzic to Inter Milan could fall through due to requests for both higher wages and new agent commissions.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Udinese midfielder’s entourage have asked the Nerazzurri for increased wages than the initial agreement, and that the Nerazzurri have made clear that there is no chance of their meeting these new demands.

The past few days between Inter and Samardzic have been nothing short of a soap opera.

Even after the 21-year-old had already completed his medicals for the move, things now look to be on the verge of falling apart.

Samardzic is returning to Udine from Milano, as it doesn’t currently look like Inter will sign the player.

The reason is an impasse between the Nerazzurri and Samardzic’s agents. However, there has been some uncertainty about exactly what the reason for this impasse is.

The rumours have swirled around exactly what Samardzic’s entourage have asked for.

And according to the Gazzetta, the player’s representatives are requesting higher wages than Inter had initially agreed to.

Lazar Samardzic Move To Inter Milan Could Fall Through Due To New Wage & Commission Demands

What is not in doubt is that Samardzic’s representatives, including his father, made new financial requests to Inter in a meeting on Friday.

However, there have been some questions and rumours about exactly the nature of these requests.

Some rumours have suggested that the player’s entourage only requested additional compensation.

However, according to the Gazzetta, there was also a request to change the wages in Samardzic’s deal.

Inter had already seemingly agreed terms with the former RB Leipzig midfielder. This came after talks which were mediated by agent Rafaela Pimenta.

However, the Gazzetta reports, Samardzic’s entourage asked Inter on Thursday to put more wages on the table.

Given that the Nerazzurri would have no intention of doing this, it now looks as though everything could come down to whether Samardzic and his representatives will accept the deal that Inter already agreed to, or stick to their new demands.
