Inter Milan wingback Valentino Lazaro has agreed to make the move to Torino on a permanent basis

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInterNews, who reported live on air that the 27-year-old has made the decision to return to Torino after the clubs have already found an agreement on the transfer.

Inter and Torino have already reportedly reached an agreement on a deal for Lazaro.

Reportedly, the Granata will pay the Nerazzurri a fee of around €4 million to sign the Austrian international.

Given that Lazaro’s contract runs out at the end of next June, Inter have certainly made it their aim to sell him on a permanent basis this summer.

The player wasn’t initially sure whether or not to accept the move back to Torino.

But, Di Marzio reports, Lazaro has made up his mind.

The former Hertha Berlin wingback is all ready to accept the Granata’s offer and could complete the transfer soon.

Valetino Lazaro Accepts Move From Inter To Torino

Lazaro spent last season on loan with Torino.

This was hardly the first time that the 27-year-old Austrian international has been out on loan since joining Inter from Hertha in the summer of 2019.

Lazaro has gone out on loan to Newcastle United, Borussia Monchegnladbach, and Benfica.

None of those have decided to sign the Austrian on a permanent basis. And neither, it seems, had Torino.

The Granata had the option to do so. Reportedly, they had a purchase option on Lazaro worth around €7 million.

And initially, Torino showed an interest in exercising that clause. Lazaro enjoyed a fairly positive season, as he fit in well to Granata coach Ivan Juric’s customary 3-5-2 system, even if a knee injury ruled him out for a few months in mid-season.

However, Torino also asked Inter for a discount to sign Lazaro. And in the end, they decided against activating the purchase option.
