French international defender Benjamin Pavard is still eager to leave Bayern Munich and join Inter Milan this summer.

The 27-year-old still has a year on his contract with the Bundesliga giants. Yet, he’s determined to embark on a new adventure as soon as possible after spending seven years in Germany between Stuttgart and Bayern.

The Nerazzurri have already reached accords with the player and the club. However, Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel is still standing in the way.

The German tactician is demanding the club to bring him a capable replacement. Otherwise, he won’t give the green light to Pavard’s departure.

But while the Bundesliga champions are trying to convince the player to stay, the Frenchman is still determined to leave, explains a report from the Bild via FcInterNews.

Moreover, Pavard is asking the Bavarian management to keep its initial promise and allow him to leave the club this summer.

But as the source points out, it was former Bayern directors Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic who made that vow. The duo no longer works for the club following an administrative revamp at the end of last season.

Yet, the 2018 World Cup winner is hoping that the German club maintains its promise anyway and grants him safe passage towards Milano.

As for the Nerazzurri, they will reportedly wait until Sunday before resorting to alternative options. This could well include Torino defender Perr Schuurs.
