Inter Milan youngster Franco Vezzoni has completed a late-summer transfer to Foggia.

The Nerazzurri announced the move in a statement published on the club’s official website.

The official note confirms that the 21-year-old has completed his switch to the Serie C side on a permanent transfer.

The starlet started his career at Atalaya in his native country of Argentina. In 2018, he completed his transfer to Inter.

The young man initially joined the Nerazzurri’s U17 ranks. He then made his way to the Primavera squad.

Vezzoni primarily plays as a left winger, but can also feature on the opposite flank.

The Italo-Argentine spent the last two campaigns on loan at Pro Patria. He returned to Appiano Gentile in the summer.

But with first-team football completely out of the question, Vezzoni had to find himself a new home this summer.

The youngster will be looking to climb in the pyramid of Italian football starting with the third tier.

His new club Foggia currently features in Serie C Girone C, reserved for clubs who hail from Southern Italy. The campaign kicks off today.

For their part, Inter still have other deals to conclude on deadline day. They’re on the cusp of finalizing the transfer for Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen.
