Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram is happy with a “perfect evening” after the Nerazzurri thrashed Fiorentina 4-0 at the San Siro.

Speaking to InterTV after the Serie A clash, via FCInterNews, the Frenchman also thanked the fans for their support.

Inter kept their perfect start to the Serie A season going, making it three wins from three.

Not only that, the Nerazzurri did so in some style. Coming up against a Viola team who had won 1-0 the last time they came to the San Siro, Inter overwhelmed the Tuscans to win 4-0.

It was Thuram who opened the scoring for Inter in the first half.

This was a hugely significant match for the 26-year-old – his first in an Inter shirt.

Thuram had notched his first assist last Monday against Cagliari. But as a striker. actually finding the back of the net represents something altogether more important.

Therefore, for Thuram, this could hardly have been a more ideal evening.
