Inter Milan and Carlos Augusto didn’t get the result that they wanted away to Real Sociedad in the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri had to settle for a point in their group stage opener.
But it could’ve been worse. Inter started the match off very poorly, conceding early. And in truth, another La Real goal always looked likelier than an equalizer.
But Inter stayed in it. And in the closing stages of the match, the Nerazzurri finally found their rhythm and broke through.
Inter Milan wingback Carlos Augusto reacted to the match on Instagram.
He wrote, “We know we can give more, but we’ve brought home an important point on our Champions League path. So happy to make my debut in this great competition. Now we’re thinking about the next one.”
