Midfielder Davide Frattesi will make his first ever start for Inter Milan in tomorrow’s Serie A match against Empoli.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

So far, Frattesi has appeared in every single one of Inter’s matches so far this season.

The 23-year-old, who joined the Nerazzurri from Sassuolo during the summer transfer window, has gotten on the pitch in each of the first four Serie A matches of the campaign.

He also played against Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

However, all of those appearances were off the bench. Frattesi has yet to play from the first minute in an Inter shirt.

However, that is about to change according to the Gazzetta.

Davide Frattesi To Start For Inter In Serie A Clash Vs Empoli

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is ready to start rotating his squad more and more over the next few weeks.

And so the coach, according to the Gazzetta, will finally hand Frattesi a starting appearance.

The former Neroverdi midfielder has certainly been in good form when he has played.

Frattesi bagged his first goal for Inter in stoppage time during last weekend’s 5-1 win in the Milan derby.

Moreover, Frattesi also assisted Lautaro Martinez for the Nerazzurri’s crucial late equalizer against La Real on Wednesday.

But starting with Empoli tomorrow, the Italian international will get the chance to impact matches far earlier.

Nerazzurri coach Inzaghi indicated that Frattesi wasn’t at 100% against La Real. That was the reason that the 23-year-old didn’t start and was only able to come on as a second half substitute.

However, the 23-year-old will start tomorrow.

Frattesi has not only been in good form for Inter. The Italian international scored both the Azzurri’s goals in a 2-1 win over Ukraine during the most recent international break.
