Inter Milan are monitoring the likes of Lecce’s Nikola Krstovic, Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, and Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper name the trio as targets on the Nerazzurri’s radar in terms of possible striker targets.

The summer transfer window has now been closed for almost an entire month.

However, that doesn’t mean that Inter are taking their eye off of the transfer market.

On the contrary, the Nerazzurri are still actively planning for the future. The club directors are monitoring possible targets to reinforce the squad in various areas.

And one of the primary positions that Inter are looking into is that of centre-forward.

Specifically, the Nerazzurri are considering options who would give the team an out-and-out Number Nine profile.

The club feel that it won’t be too long before they have to sign a target man, or a centre-forward who has the physicality and size to act as a reference point in the final third.

Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku both left in the summer. Meanwhile, Marko Arnautovic arrived to replace them, but the Austrian is 34 years old.

Moreover, Arnautovic will be  out for a couple months with a thigh strain. There are questions about the former West Ham United man’s reliability for the future.

Inter Milan Looking At Kristovic, Boniface & Guirassy

One of the main profiles that Inter are currently considering is that of Lecce striker Krstovic.

The 23-year-old only arrived in Serie A over the summer. But he has shown more or less instantly that he is up to the task of playing in the league.

According to the Gazzetta, both Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio and AC Milan Chief Scout Geoffrey Moncada scouted Krstovic during Lecce’s recent match against Monza.

But the Montenegrin isn’t the only player Inter are considering.

There are also two players in the Bundesliga who are high on the Nerazzurri’s striker shortlist.

One is that of 22-year-old Nigerian international Victor Boniface.

Boniface made the switch from Union Saint-Gilloise to Bayer Leverkusen over the summer. And he has hit the ground running, becoming a key man in Leverkusen’s flying start to the season.

And former 27-year-old former Rennes and Lille striker Serhou Guirassy has also impressed Inter.

Both of Boniface and Guirassy would give the team a strong physical presence and holdup play in the final third.
