Inter Milan wingback Juan Cuadrado is trying his best to make his return to the squad for the Serie A clash against Torino.

The Colombian joined the Nerazzurri as a free agent in the summer after seeing out his contract with Juventus.

He made three appearances off the bench at the start of the season before sustaining an injury.

The 35-year-old made his return in the club’s most recent encounter against Bologna, playing for 35 minutes.

However, Cuadrado is still facing some physical issues. Therefore, he remained at Appiano Gentile during the international break instead of joining Colombia.

According to Tuttosport via FcInterNews, the veteran is now in a race against time to regain his best condition and make himself available against Torino.

The Granata will host Inter at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on October 21st.

As the source explains, Cuadrado is currently carrying out a personalized training program between the pitch and the gym.

The club’s objective is to help the player regain his optimal physical condition ahead of next weekend’s trip to Turin, or at least something close to it.
