West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek has been offered to Inter Milan on a free transfer next summer transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering the possibility though far from fully convinced by the 28-year-old.

Czech international midfielder Soucek is currently under contract with West Ham until the end of next June.

Some reports have suggested that the Hammers may have an option to extend the 28-year-old’s contract.

However, if that is not the case, then Soucek would be free to leave East London on a free transfer next summer.

Given the former Slavia Prague midfielder’s age, this could be a major opportunity for him to secure a major contract.

And therefore, Soucek’s representatives have naturally been looking around in search of a potential next club for the midfield.

And Inter have been one of the names that have come up in conjunction with that of Soucek.

Tomas Soucek Offered To Inter On Free Transfer – Nerazzurri Considering

Reports have suggested that Inter have been looking at Soucek as a prospective target.

Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio was recently in attendance at a EURO 2024 qualifying match between Czechi and Albania.

Part of the Nerazzurri executive’s agenda there was reportedly to scout Soucek.

The 28-year-old would bring a profile to Inter’s midfield options which they do not really have a the moment.

Right now the Nerazzurri’s midfield is largely comprised of shorter and more technical players. There is a bit of height and physicality missing at the moment.

That has particularly been the case since Roberto Gagliardini left.

And West Ham midfielder Soucek would certainly be a player who would add those qualities.

Moreover, the long-term futures of players like Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Davy Klaassen are presently uncertain.

Therefore, Inter are considering Soucek. However, that is not to say that they have yet marked him out as a major target.
