Inter Milan CEO Beppe Marotta only had positive words to say about French internationals Benjamin Pavard and Marcus Thuram.
The 66-year-old gave a long interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport discussing various matters, including the departures of Milan Skriniar and Romelu Lukaku.
The former Sampdoria and Juventus general director also spoke about two Nerazzurri summer signings.
Inter snatched the services of Thuram on a free transfer after beating competition from crosstown rivals AC Milan and other suitors.
Towards the end of the transfer session, the Italian giants struck a deal with Bayern Munich which brought Pavard to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.
Marotta is content with both Frenchmen. He considers the defender to be a great asset for the club.
“We had the opportunity to sign an important profile for both the present and the future,” said the Inter CEO when discussing Pavard via TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Pavard is a major asset. He has a great value regardless of his role on the pitch.”

As for Marcus Thuram, Marotta can spot similarities between the 25-year-old and his father Lilian despite playing in different positions.
The Nerazzurri official says the striker shares the same values as the legendary Juventus and Parma defender.
“Humility, courage and perseverance. Marcus has the same values as Lilian. The attributes are the basis of personal success.”
Marcus Thuram has thus far contributed with two goals and seven assists in eight Serie A appearances. He also scored the winner in the Champions League encounter against Benfica earlier this month.
