A report in the Italian media argues that Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi is feeling the pressure as winning the Scudetto title is now an obligation.
The 47-year-old arrived at Appiano Gentile in the summer of 2021 to replace Antonio Conte.
But while the former Juventus and Chelsea manager succeeded in bringing the Scudetto title back to the club’s headquarters, his successor has failed to follow suit in his first two seasons at the club.

The management had to revamp the first team following the departure of key players over the summer. Nevertheless, club directors Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio insisted on providing the manager with a competitive squad.
Last season, Inter enjoyed a glorious Champions League run that saw them reach the tournament’s final. This achievement eased some of the pressure off Inzaghi who suffered a whopping 12 defeats in Serie A.
