Inter Milan duo Juan Cuadrado and Marko Arnautovic will reportedly miss the weekend showdown against AS Roma.
The Nerazzurri will welcome their rivals to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium where all eyes will be on Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian will be making his first appearance at the stadium following his controversial summer exit.
However, the league leaders will once again miss the services of their two veterans.
According to FcInter1908, Cuadrado and Arnautovic won’t be able to recover in time for Sunday evening’s major clash.
Nevertheless, the club is reportedly optimistic about their conditions. As the source tells it, the Colombian should soon make his return to action.
The 35-year-old could be fit enough to land himself a spot in the dugout as early as next weekend. Simone Inzaghi’s men travel to Bergamo for an encounter against Atalanta.
Inter Milan Veteran Juan Cuadrado And Marko Arnautovic Will Skip The Clash Vs Roma Though Injury
The former Juventus man has made four appearances since joining the club as a free agent in the summer, all coming off the bench. Cuadrado contributed with an assist in the 4-0 demolition of Fiorentina in Round 3.
The wingback is currently suffering from an inflammation in the Achilles Tendon.
As for Arnautovic, his recovery could require additional days. While the report doesn’t rule out a return to Bergamo, he may have to wait till the Champions League return fixture against RB Salzburg to join Inzaghi’s squad.
The Austrian rejoined Inter this summer, 13 years following his original spell at the club.
He made six appearances across all competitions this season before sustaining an injury against Empoli last September.
