Wingback Denzel Dumfries will start for Inter Milan in tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against Roma.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. The broadcaster anticipates that Federico Dimarco will also start on the opposite flank.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be keen to play more or less his strongest possible starting eleven tomorrow.

That will mean that the coach makes a few changes from the team that beat Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League during the week.

However, he will not be making too many changes.

Denzel Dumfries To Start For Inter In Serie A Clash Vs Roma

On the right flank, that will mean that former PSV wingback Dumfries keeps his place from Tuesday’s match.

Dumfries had not started in the Nerazzurri’s previous Serie A match.

It was Matteo Darmian who started at right-wingback in Inter’s Serie A win over Torino last Saturday.

However, Dumfries came off the bench and made an instant impact.

The Dutchman assisted striker Marcus Thuram for the opening goal of the match.

Then, Dumfries came into the Inter starting eleven for Tuesday’s Champions League group stage match.

And according to Sky, the 27-year-old will keep his spot for tomorrow’s match.

Meanwhile, at left-wingback, Federico Dimarco got a rest on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old, who had started against Torino last weekend did not play either from the start or from the bench against Salzburg.

Rather, it was Brazilian international Carlos Augusto who started in the Champions League match. Augusto saw out the ninety minutes.

But tomorrow, Sky reports, Dimarco will return to the starting eleven.

The Italian international has become the usual first-choice starter in the biggest matches for Inter.

Sky’s complete predicted Inter starting eleven for tomorrow is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Sommer; Pavard, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Thuram, Lautaro.
