There are two possible options for out-of-favour Inter Milan midfielder Lucien Agoume during the January transfer window.

Italian news outlet FCInterNews report that the Frenchman could either go out on loan to a team in Serie A, or even leave on a permanent transfer to a club abroad.

Young midfielder Agoume did not leave Inter after all during the summer transfer window.

This was despite the fact that the 21-year-old has little place in the Nerazzurri’s first-team plans for this season.

Therefore, the expectation was that Agoume would find a new club for more playing time in the summer. Whether it were to be on loan or on a permanent move away.

But no move materialized. therefore, Agoume has remained a part of the Inter squad during the start of this season.

However, it is not as thought the Frenchman has suddenly broken into the team.

Quite the contrary, Agoume has played a grand total of four minutes so far this season. That was as a substitute away to Salernitana, when Inter were already 4-0 up.

Therefore, it is all but certain that Agoume will secure a move away in January.

But the question would be where that would be, and whether it’s on loan or on a permanent basis.

Inter Outcast Lucien Agoume With Two Possible Options For January

According to FCIN, if Agoume goes to a club in Serie A, it would be on loan.

The idea would likely be for the 21-year-old to join a club where he can receive regular playing time.

That would obviously be a positive thing for the player. And for Inter, it would mean that if they’re retaining control of Agoume’s future, he can have the chance to prove himself and grow.

The last time that Agoum was on loan in Serie A was at Spezia. There, he found playing time hard to come by under current Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.

Then, over the past two seasons, Agoume has gone out on loan to teams in Ligue 1.

He has played for the likes of Brest and Troyes.

There, back in his home country of France, Agoume played regular first-team football.

According to FCIN, if Agoume were to join a team abroad, it could very well be on a permanent basis.

Inter would listen to offers to buy the Frenchman outright if there are clubs willing to invest.
