Lazio veteran Pedro Rodriguez pinpoints Inter Milan as the favorites to clinch the Scudetto title at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old represented Barcelona, Chelsea and AS Roma in the past, in addition to the Spanish national team.
The winger is yet to win a trophy since landing in Italy in 2020. However, his past accolades include a World Cup triumph, a European Championship, and three Champions League trophies amongst others.
Therefore, Pedro knows a thing or two about winning teams, and he identifies Inter as the most likely candidate to lift the Scudetto this term.
“In my opinion the strongest team at the moment is Inter,” said the experienced winger in his interview with Sportitalia via FcInterNews.
“They are playing very well. So it’s difficult to see them dropping points and losing matches.
“But let’s see. In the end, the season is still long. So we shall see who will win it in the end.”
The Nerazzurri are currently leading the Serie A standings with 31 points from 12 league fixtures. They only dropped points in a defeat against Sassuolo and a draw with Bologna.
Juventus remain their closest chasers and the two rivals will clash heads next weekend at the Allianz Stadium.

Pedro also discussed the Champions League, describing it as a balanced tournament while naming some of the most likely candidates to win it.
“I see it as a balanced tournament because all the strong teams are fighting to get points in the group stage.
“It’s true that there are always those four or five clubs who are very strong and often reach the end of the journey.
“I’m talking about the likes of Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich. and Barcelona.”
