The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Lucien Agoume expects that it’s possible that the Frenchman would consider offers in January.
Speaking to Italian news outlet Numero Diez, via FCInterNews, an intermediary representing the 21-year-old, Oscar Damiani also spoke about the situation of Nerazzurri-owned goalkeeper Andrei Radu on loan at Bournemouth.
Agoume is a player whose future at Inter is very much up in the air.
The young midfielder is currently part of the Nerazzurri’s first-team squad.
And in fact, Agoume is in the matchday squad for this evening’s Derby d’Italia match against Juventus.
But it would be no exaggeration to say that the Frenchman is on the fringes of the Inter project.
Agoume has made just one appearance this season. That was a brief cameo off the bench in a Serie A win over Salernitana in September.
Naturally, this is not sufficient playing time for the 21-year-old to gain a rhythm and grow.
And for Inter, it is not as though the Nerazzurri would stand in the way of a departure for Agoume.
As far as the player himself is concerned, Agoume’s representative doesn’t hide a willingness to listen to offers.
Inter Midfielder Lucien Agoume Could Listen To January Offers, Agent Says
Damiani began by clarifying, “I have to specify that he has an agent who works with him.”
“I’m referring to Djibril Niang,” he went on.
“However we just give them a hand,” Damiani said of his own agency.
Of the midfielder, he said that “Lucien is a very intelligent, high-level young man.”
“Obviously it’s not easy to get playing time at Inter,” he went on.
“The Nerazzurri probably have the best midfield in Europe. We’ll consider what the best decision is along with his agent and the club.”
Damiani made clear that “There’s still time and we’ll evaluate offers.,” when it comes to the January transfer window.
And Damiani also spoke about one of his clients, keeper Radu.
He called being on loan at Bournemouth “A very positive experience.”
“The player is happy, and he feels highly respected.”
“Obviously there’s competition for him from Neto,” he continued. “So we’ll see between now and the end of the season whether he will become a starter or whether he’ll have to wait.”
“However, he’s still having a great experience that’s helping him grow. He’s in a top league.”
Of Radu’s future, Damiani said that “Staying is definitely a possibility we’ll take into consideration.”
“It’s something we’ll have to consider at the end of the season, along with Inter.”
