Inter Milan enjoyed a memorable European night against Benfica in their second group stage clash.

On paper there wasn’t much at stake.

The Nerazzurri were still playing for top spot in the group. But having wrapped up qualification for the round of sixteen, the pressure was off.

But Inter still felt the sting when they went 3-0 down in the first half.

However, the Nerazzurri produced a response. They scored three goals without reply in the second half to complete the comeback.

Inter keeper Emil Audero made his debut in the match.

He posted on Instagram, “Crazy debut with this Inter!” I’m happy to have played my first ever match with this team. What a comeback!”
