Six Inter Milan stars will reportedly earn new contracts starting with Matteo Darmian who has an automatic renewal clause in his deal.

The Nerazzurri’s top managerial figures, namely Beppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin, have already inked new deals.

So as Tuttosport (via FcInterNews) tells it, the hierarchy will now turn its attention toward some of the club’s biggest stars.

As the source explains, Darmian will be the first to activate an extension clause placed in the club’s favor.

Therefore, the former Man United defender will extend his contract from 2024 to 2025.

The 33-year-old has cemented himself as a reliable figure at Appiano Gentile, He’s capable of playing in various positions between the defense and the flanks.

On the other hand, five Nerazzurri players are negotiating with the management over new contracts.

The Turin-based newspaper expects Federico Dimarco and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to ink new deals before the end of the year.

The Italian wingback should earn a pay rise from two to four million euros. His new deal should run until 2028.

For his part, the Armenian will reportedly reject interest from Saudi Arabia to extend his Nerazzurri contract until 2026. He should continue to collect around 3.6 million per season plus bonuses.

Moreover, Denzel Dumfries should renew his stay until 2027 with a pay increase. His new wages will reach 4 million euros. The source expects the agreement to ensue at the start of the new year.

Afterward, Inter will be looking to tie down two of their biggest assets. Captain Lautaro Martinez will earn a new deal until 2028 which will see him collect around 8M.

Meanwhile, Nicolo Barella’s new contract will have the same deadline but with a salary of 7 million euros.
