Former Inter Milan defender Lele Adani showers Simone Inzaghi with praise, describing him as a top tactician.

The 47-year-old enjoyed a positive five-year managerial spell at Lazio before signing for the Nerazzurri in 2021.

The Beneamata appointed Inzaghi as a replacement for Antonio Conte who vacated his post after leading the club toward a Scudetto title.

Although the current Inter boss has yet to replicate his predecessor’s league accomplishment, he has already collected four cups since taking charge at Appiano Gentile.

He also led the Nerazzurri toward the Champions League final last season before succumbing at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s Man City despite a valiant effort.

Therefore, Lele Adani lauds the Inter manager whom he considers a brilliant coach.

“Simone Inzaghi is an excellent coach who continues to evolve,” said the 49-year-old in his interview with Calciomercato.it via FcInterNews.

“I believe his team’s performances and results speak for him.”

The Correggio native started his career at Modena before spending a solitary campaign at Lazio.

The former centre-back rose to fame during his time at Brescia, and stints at Fiorentina and Inter followed suit.

He joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2002 before leaving the club in 2004.

As for Inzaghi, he extended his contract with Inter at the start of the season. His current deal is valid until the summer of 2025.
