Inter Milan are reportedly looking to secure the services of eight of their players until the summer of 2028.

As Tuttospost (via FcInterNews) explains, the Nerazzurri already have five players on contract until 2028.

In addition to Alessandro Bastoni, the list includes four summer signings in the shape of Marcus Thuram, Davide Frattesi, Carlos Augusto and Benjamin Pavard.

Nevertheless, the management would like to raise the total to eight adding three key players to the equation.

First, we begin with club captain Lautaro Martinez. Both the club and the player have recently announced their desire to renew their collaboration.

The Turin-based newspaper expects the 2022 World Cup winner to sign a new contract till 2028 while earning a pay rise from 7 million euros to 8M plus bonuses.

The report also tips Nicolo Barella to put pen to paper. The Italy superstar is also running on a deal until 2026, but the management would like to push back the deadline until 2028.

The same goes for Federico Dimarco who could become the next player to join the 2028 group.

On another note, midfielders Hakan Calhanoglu and Kristjan Asllani have deals valid until 2027. Denzel Dumfries’ new deal should include a similar deadline, although the two parties are still trying to find an agreement over wages.

The player is requesting a salary of 5.5 million while the club is only offering 4 million. The Dutchman’s current contract will expire in 2025.

Finally, Inter would also like to maintain the services of their four veterans Yann Sommer, Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
