Midfielder Davide Frattesi and forward Alexis Sanchez are set to start for Inter Milan against Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Despite having only just taken to the pitch two days ago against Udinese, Inter will already be in action tomorrow in the Champions League.

Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi will have to decide on who starts tomorrow’s match that had already started against the Friulani.

And according to the Corriere, the coach will largely confirm the starting eleven.

Even with the limited time to rest between the matches, Inzaghi will stick with the team.

But there should still be a couple of changes to the starting lineup. And these could come in midfield and in attack.

Davide Frattesi & Alexis Sanchez To Start Vs Real Sociedad

One player who did not play on Saturday, either from the start or from the bench, is midfielder Frattesi.

The 24-year-old former Sassuolo man did not come on even to see the game out. Instead, Inzaghi turned to the rarely-used Stefano Sensi for a late cameo appearance.

But after the match, the coach made clear that Frattesi would have a role against La Real.

And according to the Corriere, the Italian international will start tomorrow.

Frattesi will replace one of Nicolo Barella or Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the starting eleven.

It’s not clear which of the two regular starters Inzaghi will give a rest to. But one way or another, Frattesi will get the chance to prove that he can ably deputize for Barella or Mkhitaryan.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal and Barcelona forward Sanchez should also start tomorrow.

The Chilean will replace Marcus Thuram in the lineup. This means that he will lead the line along with Lautaro Martinez.

In defense, meanwhile, Yann Bisseck will also keep his place after an impressive display against Udinese.

And then on the right flank, either Matteo Darmian or Juan Cuadrado could start.
