Marko Arnautovic, Davide Frattesi, and Kristjan Asllani will all get a chance to start for Inter Milan against Bologna tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport italia, via FCInterNews.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be keen to rotate his team tomorrow evening against Bologna.

The Nerazzurri have only just played a couple days ago. They beat Lazio 2-0 in Serie A on Sunday evening.

This is a particularly intense period in the fixture list, so Inzaghi will certainly not want to burn any of his key players out.

This will mean quite a few regular starters get a rest.

That was also the case in the past two seasons when Inter faced Empoli and Parma respectively in this round of the competition.

Marko Arnautovic, Davide Frattesi & Kristjan Asllani To Start For Inter Vs Bologna

For a number of players who do not regularly start matches for Inter, tomorrow evening will constitute an important opportunity.

In attack, there is virtually no doubt that former Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic will be in the lineup against his old team.

The 34-year-old made the switch to Inter from the Rossoblu during the summer transfer window.

However, Arnautovic has not regularly started for the Nerazzurri by any means.

But Inter coach Inzaghi will be determined to give a rest to the usual strike pair, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Therefore, the Austrian will get his chance from the first whistle.

The same is true of 24-year-old Italian international Davide Frattesi.

The former Sassuolo midfielder has only made one start in Serie A so far for Inter.

But Frattesi has started more frequently in the Champions League. And that trend is set to continue in cup competitions, as he will also start Inter’s first match in the Coppa Italia this season.

Lastly, also in midfield, Sky report that Asllani will start.

The Albanian former Empoli midfielder will allow Hakan Calhanoglu to get a rest from the first whistle.
