Striker Marko Arnautovic will start for Inter Milan in tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italian clash with Bologna.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. The broadcaster also anticipates that Davy Klaassen or Stefano Sensi could start alongside the Austrian in attack.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will be keen to rotate his team tomorrow evening against Bologna.

The Nerazzurri have only just played a couple days ago. They beat Lazio 2-0 in Serie A on Sunday evening.

This is a particularly intense period in the fixture list, so Inzaghi will certainly not want to burn any of his key players out.

This will mean quite a few regular starters get a rest.

That was also the case in the past two seasons when Inter faced Empoli and Parma respectively in this round of the competition.

Marko Arnautovic To Start For Inter Vs Bologna – Klaassen Or Sensi Could Start Alongside Him

Against the Rossoblu tomorrow, Sky report that Inzaghi will rest both Lautaro Martinez and Davy Klaassen will start.

Both of the regular strike partnership started against Lazio on Sunday.

And both will get the chance to catch their breath from the start tomorrow.

That will certainly mean that former West Ham United and Stoke City striker Arnautovic will get the chance to start.

The 34-year-old Austrian international will start against his old team Bologna. Arnautovic joined inter from the Rossoblu during the summer transfer window.

But Alexis Sanchez will not be able to start tomorrow’s match.

This is because the Chilean is still out with some muscular fatigue. He will not be fit enough to be part of the squad tomorrow.

Therefore, Inzaghi could opt for a slightly more unorthodox solution.

Sky anticipate that the Inter coach could repurpose a rarely-used midfield into a trequartista playing alongside Arnautovic.

Both of Klaassen and Sensi will be vying for that role.
