Referee Marco Marcenaro will be in charge of Saturday evening’s Serie A match between Inter Milan and Lecce.

The Lega Serie A confirm the entire list of match officials for the round of fixtures, via FCInterNews. Lorenzo Maggioni will be on VAR duty for the match at the San Siro.

This Saturday, Inter will host Lecce in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri’s aim will be clear. Only three points will suffice for Simone Inzaghi’s team as they aim to continue their winning run in the league.

Inter beat Lazio 2-0 at the Stadio Olimpico last time out.

That result saw the Nerazzurri extend their lead at the top of the Serie A table to four points ahead of Juventus.

Therefore, this Saturday will represent an opportunity for Inter to build on that momentum and solidify their grasp on top spot.

But it will certainly not be a match without its pitfalls.

Inter will come up against a Lecce team who are in impressive form considering their relatively small stature.

The Giallorossi are currently twelfth in the table, with twenty points so far.

Far from being in the relegation battle, Lecce have looked like a midtable side under Roberto D’Aversa.

Last weekend, the Puglians beat Frosinone in Serie A. This followed draws against the likes of AC Milan, Bologna, Hellas Verona, and Empoli.

The referee for Saturday’s match will be Matteo Marcenaro.

Assisting Marcenaro in his duties will be Christian Rossi and Nicolo Cipriani.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Paride Tremolada.

In the VAR booth, Lorenzo Maggioni will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Maggioni in his duties will be Valerio Valeri.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
