Striker Marko Arnautovic is happy with the support he gets from his Inter Milan teammates, and not feeling too much pressure from Juventus.

The Austrian spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, following the Nerazzurri’s Serie A win over Lecce.

Arnautovic helped Inter to yet another win in Serie A yesterday.

The Nerazzurri responded to Juventus’s victory over Frosinone earlier in the day. They took three points of their own with a 2-0 win over Lecce.

It was not a straightforward match.

Lecce have proven themselves to be a formidable side this season. The Puglian team have firmly entrenched themselves in Serie A’s midtable.

Therefore, Inter got a tough match against a team with physicality, pace, and strong organization under coach Roberto D’Aversa.

But in the end, the Nerazzurri got the result they were looking for.

And striker Arnautovic may not have scored. But the Austrian played a vital role.

The former West Ham United striker capped off a battling performance with a brilliant improvised backheel assist for Nicolo Barella as the midfielder rounded off the win in the second half.,

Arnautovic said that “I’m always talking with my teammates.”

“They understand that I’m going through a difficult period,” the Austrian continued.

“After the assist I got on the first match I was out for six weeks,” he noted.

“Now, little by little, I’m getting back to 100% and they can see it.”

“It’s not an easy period for me,” Arnautovic said. “But I have to say thanks to my teammates, the club, and the fans.”

“I always feel the love from the fans,” the 34-year-old continued.

“That’s why we always give everything. Because they’re also giving 100%.”

And as far as the pressure from Juventus in the Serie A title race, Arnautovic said that “We don’t care. We just focus on ourselves.”
