Inter Milan Have Total Agreement With Napoli Midfielder On Three-Year Contract Next Summer

Inter Milan have a total agreement with Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski regarding a three-year contract for next summer.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming to seal things with a pre-contract agreement with the Polish international as soon as possible.

By now, the links between Zielinski and Inter are far from a secret.

The Polish international is out of contract with Napoli at the end of the current season. His deal expires at the end of next June.

And there has been no sign of an agreement on an extension with the Partenopei.

Napoli have tried to convince Zielinski to sign a new deal.

There have been talks with the 29-year-old former Empoli and Udinese midfielder.

But there hasn’t been very much progress towards a new deal.

And in the meantime, other clubs have become very aware of Zielinski’s contract situation.

The likes of Juventus and West Ham United reportedly consider the Pole a target. But it is Inter who have most strongly registered interest in Zielinski’s signature.

The Nerazzurri’s propensity to target free transfer signings is a major pillar of their transfer strategy under the guidance of Beppe Marotta.

And a player of Zielinski’s quality and Serie A experience in his prime would certainly represent a major coup in this respect.

Inter & Piotr Zielinski Have “Total Agreement” For Next Summer

According to FCIN1908, Inter and Zielinski have already reached a “total agreement” regarding a summer transfer.

The 29-year-old has decided that he’ll join the Nerazzurri.

The parties have already informally discussed personal contract.

Inter have offered a three-year deal with the option of one further season. This would see Zielinski earn €4.5 million net per season.

Inter don’t want to wait around, though.

The Nerazzurri know that if they let the months drag by without formalizing the signing of ZIelinski, the Pole could decide to change his mind.

Alternatively, Napoli could still make a new contract offer. Inter are wary of Zielinski using negotiations with them to pressure Napoli into raising their offer.

Therefore, FCIN1908 report, Inter are keen to wrap up a pre-contract agreement with Zielinski next month.
