Inter Milan are looking to announce contract extensions for Lautaro Martinez, Federico Dimarco, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan very soon.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, anticipate that the Argentine’s deal could be made official early next month, and Dimarco and Mkhitaryan’s announcements could come even sooner.

Inter are hard at work in contract extension talks with a number of players in their squad.

Not all of these are very far along. For example, Denzel Dumfries’s current deal runs out at the end of June 2025.

Inter will aim to bridge the gap in talks with the Dutchman and his entourage.

At the moment, Dumfries is asking for a considerably larger wage increase than Inter are offering. If the parties do not agree a deal then Inter will look to sell the 27-year-old next month – Tajon Buchanan arriving in January could offer a long-term replacement.

But in terms of three other sets of contract extension negotiations, a positive conclusion looks to be much closer.

Inter To Announce Lautaro, Dimarco & Mkhitaryan Contract Extensions In Coming Weeks

Inter are aiming to extend the contract of wingback Dimarco, which currently expires at the end of June 2026.

The 26-year-old has become a vital player for the Nerazzurri. And the club want to tie down his future.

Veteran midfielder Mkhitaryan’s present deal, on the other hand, runs out at the end of next June.

So Inter know that they must agree an extension or else see the Armenian depart on a free transfer.

The Corriere report that talks with Dimarco and Mkhitaryan are very close to being wrapped up.

Inter could very well announce new deals for both officially before the end of Deccember.

And then an announcement for captain Martinez will arrive a bit later. But not by much.

Inter could officially announce a new deal for the Argentine early in January, the Corriere anticipates.
