Inter Milan will make a decision on the future of Lucien Agoume while a host of clubs are waiting in the wings, including Sevilla.
Unfortunately for the 21-year-old, he currently lies at the very bottom of Simone Inzaghi’s pecking order.
In other words, he’s the manager’s eighth-choice midfielder. Hakan Calhanoglu, Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Davide Frattesi, Kristjan Asllani, Davy Klaassen and Stefano Sensi are all ahead of him.
Therefore, Agoume has only made a single appearance for Inter since the start of the season. It came in the shape of a four-minute cameo against Salernitana.
Therefore, Agoume will be hellbent on leaving in January to earn additional playing time elsewhere.
According to FcInterNews, the management will decide the player’s future in a matter of days with six clubs keeping track of the situation.
The source confirms Sevilla as one of the player’s suitors. However, five different clubs are also interested in his services.
The report mentions a French club, two from Belgium, a Dutch side and one from Portugal, but doesn’t reveal any names.
Inter Milan To Decide The Future Of Sevilla Target Lucien Agoume In The Next Days
As for the formula of the operation, the source believes it will depend on Agoume’s next destination.
At the moment, a dry loan appears to be the preferred solution. However, the report doesn’t rule out a permanent transfer or an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
The midfielder joined Inter in 2019 after starting his career at Sochaux.
He spent the last three campaigns on loan between Spezia, Brest and Troyes, but he couldn’t secure a transfer last summer.
Agoume’s contract at Inter runs until the summer of 2025.
