Inter Milan will face Lazio in the second semifinal match of the Supercoppa Italiana in Saudi Arabia on January 19.

This is officially confirmed as the format for the competition is set in stone, via FCInterNews.

There has been some uncertainty regarding exactly when Inter would be playing their Supercoppa Italiana match or matches.

The Nerazzurri qualified for the expanded-format competition as last season’s Coppa Italia winners.

Coppa Italia runners-up Fiorentina also qualified. As did last season’s Serie A champions and runners-up Napoli and Lazio.

It’s long been certain that the Supercoppa would follow the expanded four-team format.

And that Saudi Arabia would host the competition, as they had done last season.

But there has been some changing around as far as the exact dates for the fixtures.

Now, however, things have settled into a final schedule.

Inter To Face Lazio In Supercoppa Italiana Semifinal On January 19

The first Supercoppa Italiana semifinal match will be between Napoli and Fiorentina.

The two teams will face off at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh on January 18. The match will kick off at 22.00 local time, which is equivalent to 20.00 CET.

Then, the following day, it will be the second semifinal between Inter and Lazio.

That match will take place at the same stadium, with the same kickoff time.

Should Inter beat Lazio and move on to the final to face either Napoli or Fiorentina, they will play again three days later, on January 22.

The final of the Supercoppa Italiana will also take place at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh. That will be the venue that plays host for the entire three-match competition.

The kickoff time for the final will once again be 22.00 local time, or 20.00 CET.

Inter have won the Supercoppa Italiana in each of the past two seasons. They beat Juventus and AC Milan in one-off matches to lift the trophy.
