Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan hails his attacking teammates Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
The Argentine and the Frenchman have formed a deadly partnership since the latter arrived at the club in the summer.
For his part, Mkhitaryan has been operating behind them in the middle of the park in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
In a recent interview, the 34-year-old had praise of the highest order for the Nerazzurri attacking duo.
The former Man Utd, Arsenal and AS Roma star believes Thuram has proven everyone wrong with his excellent technique.
The veteran thinks the France international is from the same mold as the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robert Lewandowski.
“I’m very happy that Marcus has been making everyone reconsider their judgments,” said Mkhitaryan in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInter1908.
“I never doubted his ability. It was evident from the start that he’s a complete striker He was the profile that we needed.
“I played with great forwards, from Aubameyang to Ibrahimovic and Lewandovski. Marcus has the same technique to match them.”

On another note, the Armenian veteran feels Lautaro has been acting as a true captain since last season before inheriting the armband from Samir Handanovic in the summer.
“Let’s leave aside the armband which he received this season. Lautaro was already a ‘captain’ last term, in the sense of a leader and a driving force.
“Each of us must consider him a role model, a point of reference in every match because Lautaro won’t be able to decide every clash on his own.”
