Young Inter Milan attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni wants to emulate the recent form of Kenan Yildiz at Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter-owned teenager Carboni has been breaking into the Monza team more and more in recent weeks.

Having joined the Brianzoli in search of playing time during the summer, Carboni did not receive it right away.

The Argentine needed to settle in and adapt. He is still a new face within the senior game, particularly at the Serie A level.

But that period of adaptation now appears to be over.

Carboni is getting chances to start for Monza. And he is taking good advantage of them.

Valentin Carboni Wants To Emulate Kenan Yildiz At Inter

It would still be premature to say that Carboni is ready to star for a team like Inter.

The teenager will have the second half of the season in which to continue to polish his performances. He wants to show that he has the potential to play for a team vying for the title.

But there is another player who Carboni will be looking to whose recent form suggests that playing such a role is not beyond a player so young.

Turkish forward Yildiz is eighteen years of age, like Carboni.

And as with the Inter-owned player, Yildiz did not start the season as a starter.

But the 18-year-old has broken into the Bianconeri’s team under Max Allegri. He has caught the eye with a string of excellent recent performances.

Yildiz has shown that, with sufficient talent, even players not yet twenty years old can start for teams with Serie A title ambitions – Juventus are currently just two points behind Inter.

And this will give Carboni reason to hope.

The young Argentine international can look to continue his positive development at Monza until the end of the current season.

Then, next time around, Carboni could become Inter’s own counterpart to Yildiz.
