Inter Milan are ready to welcome back Valentin Carboni with open arms in the summer and trust him with a role in the first team.

The Nerazzurri poached the teenager’s services from Catania in 2020.

He swiftly cemented himself as one of the main jewels of the club’s youth sector. He even earned a few appearances with the first team.

Last summer, the management decided to send him on loan to Monza so he could earn some valuable Serie A experience.

The move is beginning to pay dividends with the Argentine slowly but surely establishing himself as an important player at Raffaele Palladino’s court.

Last week, he contributed to the Biancorossi’s 3-2 victory in Frosinone with a goal and an assist.

On Saturday, Carboni will take on his parent club at the U-Power Stadium. This will be his chance to further consolidate his status as one of the most promising youngsters in Serie A.

But according to Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews, the Nerazzurri have already made up their mind, as they want to add the teenager to Simone Inzaghi’s squad next season.

Inter Milan Looking To Bring Back Valentin Carboni In The Summer

Inter are reportedly looking to gradually integrate the player into the attacking department. He would join Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Marko Arnautovic, and possibly Mehdi Taremi, as the source tells it.

The Iranian could sign for the Italian giants once his contract with Porto expires at the end of the season.

As for Carboni, the 18-year-old is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a second striker or a winger.

This season, he has two goals and three assists to his name in 12 Serie A appearances thus far.
