Inter Milan are set to embark to Saudi Arabia tomorrow for the Supercoppa Italiana.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, reveal the team’s itinerary ahead of their semifinal clash with Lazio on Friday.

Right now, Inter’s squad is still in Italy.

Meanwhile, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi has travelled to London to participate in FIFA’s “The Best” ceremony.

The players have been allowed to get a bit of rest following their Serie A win over Monza on Saturday.

But soon, the team will make the journey to Saudi Arabia to shift gears from their league commitments.

The Gazzetta report that tomorrow the squad will get on a plane at around 15.00 CET.

Inter’s players will make the six-hour flight to Riyadh. Given the two-hour time difference, they will arrive during the evening.

Once there, the Nerazzurri will settle into their team hotel. The club have selected the same hotel as for last season’s Supercoppa match, which was also held in Riyadh.

Inter To Start Preparing For Supercoppa Italiana

On Wednesday, the Gazzetta report, Inter will hold their first training session in Saudi Arabia during the early afternoon.

The team will take tomorrow evening and Wednesday morning to adjust.

This will be to the different climate as well as the time zone difference.

And in the training sessions prior to Friday’s match against Lazio, Inter’s players will look to get more used to the very hot climate in Riyadh.

The temperatures can naturally affect how exertion affects the players’ muscles.

So the priority once the team have settled in will be to acclimate.

Then on Friday at 20.00 CET, Inter will face off with Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal.

The team will hope to have made the necessary adjustments in terms of fitness and comfort in the climate by then, naturally.
