Inter Milan are looking to reach formal agreements with Piotr Zielinski and Mehdi Taremi on summer transfers in the coming weeks.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, via FCInter1908.

Inter’s penchant for free transfer signings has become a major pillar of the Nerazzurri’s transfer strategy.

In recent seasons, Inter have brought in players like Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcus Thuram without paying transfer fees, when their contracts with previous expired.

And for next summer, Inter want to make two major signings on free transfers.

The Nerazzurri have missed out on Tiago Djalo. The 23-year-old Lille defender is close to completing a move to Juventus, and so will not be available on a free transfer in June.

But there are two players who the Nerazzurri are still aiming to bring in via that route.

And according to Di Marzio, the club’s plan is to seal them in the coming weeks.

Inter Want To Agree Zielinski & Taremi Deals In The Coming Weeks

Napoli midfielder Zielinski’s contract expires at the end of June.

And Inter have been closely following the Polish international’s signature.

The fact that the Nerazzurri want to sign Zielinski on a free transfer is no big secret. But according to Di Marzio, they are ready to move forward.

The Sky transfer expert reports that Inter are preparing to reach an agreement with Zielinski.

That way, the Nerazzurri can have everything in place to sign Zielinski as soon as they can officially do so, when his contract with Napoli expires.

The fact that the January transfer window is open aids Inter in this respect. The Nerazzurri can freely negotiate with Zielinski and his representatives.

And then, the same is true of Porto and Iran striker Taremi.

Like Zielinski, the Iranian is a player who Inter want to sign.

And they are preparing to move forward in negotiations with Taremi over the coming weeks.
