Simone Inzaghi says that he could rotate the Inter Milan team to face Napoli tomorrow with some players suffering from fatigue.
The Nerazzurri coach discussed his decisions ahead of tomorrow’s match in a press conference, as reported by FCInterNews.
Inzaghi did not rest any key players in Friday evening’s Supercoppa semifinal win over Lazio.
The 47-year-old went with what was essentially his strongest possible starting lineup. And this was reflected in the strength of the team’s performance, as Inter thrashed the Biancocelesti 3-0.
But the Inter coach will have some decisions to make tomorrow.
The Nerazzurri face a tough match against reigning Italian champions Napoli, and do so with just a couple days of rest.
Moreover, the fact that the Partenopei will have one extra day between matches could be a factor.
And Inter also have a slew of important matches just on the way, between Serie A and the Champions League.

“I don’t know how Mazzarri will set his team up to play tomorrow,” the Inter coach said.
“He’s already been changing the formation in the league. But I think that what will matter most will be motivation.”
And as far as whether the Nerazzurri see the Supercoppa final tomorrow in terms of the Serie A title race as well, Inzaghi said that “It would send a great message. But we’re just focusing on the Supercoppa.”
