There is only one doubt for the Inter Milan starting eleven in next Sunday’s Serie A showdown with Juventus.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, name the question of Matteo Darmian or Denzel Dumfries on the right flank as the one that Simone Inzaghi hasn’t resolved.

Against Fiorentina over the weekend just gone, Inter coach Inzaghi put out a somewhat rotated lineup.

Partly, this was enforced as the result of suspensions. With both of Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu unavailable, Davide Frattesi and Kristjan Asllani started.

And the two younger midfielders helped the Nerazzurri secure a cagey 1-0 victory which was enough to overtake Juventus at the top of the Serie A table.

But there is no question of who the starting trio will be next weekend.

Barella and Calhanoglu will return to the team. And the ever-reliable Henrikh Mkhitaryan will complete the trio centrally.

Only One Doubt For Inter Starting XI Vs Juventus

Meanwhile, Inzaghi also made a couple of changes to the team at the Stadio Artemio Franchi which were not strictly enforced.

In defense, Francesco Acerbi got a rest for the first hour of the match.

Then, the former Lazio defender replaced Alessandro Bastoni for the last half-hour, giving Bastoni a partial rest as well.

Meanwhile, on the left flank Federico Dimarco was on the bench as an unused substitute. Carlos Augusto played all ninety minutes.

The Corriere report that with all of that Italian international trio fresh, they will certainly start on Sunday against Juventus.

Acerbi will start at the centre of a back three between Bastoni and Benjamin Pavard.

In attack, it will certainly be Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram leading the line.

And then on the right flank, either of Darmian or Dumfries could start.

It has been the former who has been starting recently. The former Manchester United veteran has started in each of Inter’s last four matches across all competitions.

However, Dumfries came off the bench as a substitute against Fiorentina.

And it was a convincing performance from the Dutchman on a physical level. Therefore, he’ll be in contention to regain his starting place against Juventus.
