Juventus defender Gleison Bremer could have wound up at Inter Milan in the past. However, he feels that he’s in the right place at the moment.

The 26-year-old continues to cement himself as one of the most reliable defenders in Serie A if not Europe.

He currently marshalls the Bianconeri’s backline acting as the central defender in Max Allegri’s 3-5-2 formation.

This Sunday, the Brazilian will be looking to thwart Inter’s golden striking partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

The outcome of this duel will be crucial in what will be a major Scudetto showdown between the two arch-rivals.

Inter currently lead the table by a single point while also having an extra match in hand.

Nevertheless, Bremer tries to undermine the importance of the direct clash, while admitting that winning at the Giuseppe Meazza will be a daunting task for Juventus.

“With Inter, it will be a race until the end,” said the Brazil international in his interview with DAZN via FcInterNews.

“Getting a result in Milan is never easy. But in my opinion, whoever wins doesn’t necessarily clinch the title. There are still many games to play, but it’s an important step nonetheless.

Juventus Defender Gleison Bremer Doesn’t Regret Failed Transfer To Inter Milan

When asked if he would have fancied a transfer to Inter, Bremer expectedly refuted the notion, pledging his allegiance to his current employers.

“No, I don’t think about it. I’m on the right side.”

The centre-back was heavily linked with a move to Inter in 2022. The Nerazzurri reportedly had an agreement in principle with Torino over a summer transfer.

Yet, Inter couldn’t muster transfer funds at the right time, allowing Juventus to hijack the deal at the eleventh hour.
