Juventus coach Max Allegri is facing a selection dilemma ahead of the Inter Milan clash, as he’ll have to choose between Federico Chiesa and Kenan Yildiz.
The 56-year-old’s attacking choices proved costly last weekend. He decided to drop the Turkish teenager in favor of Arkadiusz Milik. The latter earned himself a swift red card which culminated in a disappointing 1-1 draw against Empoli at home.
Therefore, Allegri will be eager to make the right call ahead of what could well be his side’s most important fixtures in the campaign.
The Bianoneri emerged as an unlikely contender for the Scudetto title. They are currently in second place, only one point behind the Nerazzurri, although after playing an extra match.
But while the Juventus formation picks itself for the largest part, the manager still has to choose between Chiesa and Yildiz.
According to Sky Sport Italia via FcInterNews, the Euro 2020 winner is now gaining ground over his young teammate.
The Italian missed his team’s last two fixtures with an injury but now regained his fitness.
Chiesa is now pushing for a starting role alongside Dusan Vlahovic.
Elsewhere on the pitch, Adrien Rabiot will also announce his return form injury in the Derby d’Italia. He joins Manuel Locatelli and Weston McKennie in midfield.
Andrea Cambiaso and Filip Kostic will take the flank roles while Federico Gatti, Gleison Bremer and Danilo constitute the three-man backline.
On the other hand, Simone Inzaghi has apparently chosen his starting lineup, which shouldn’t feature any surprises.

Juventus Probable XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Vlahovic, Chiesa
